Scale Institute and Royal Roads University are pleased to host Ownership Matters. The event seeks to engage, educate, and galvanize stakeholders across the public, private and nonprofit sectors in Canada around the concept of community ownership within the broader community wealth building agenda. Ownership Matters will take place in Victoria, British Columbia at Royal Roads University, located on the traditional Lands of the Lekwungen-speaking Peoples, the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.
This invite-only event will BUILD a shared understanding of community wealth and community ownership as foundations of inclusive, regenerative economies; IDENTIFY policy and other systemic barriers and opportunities for supporting community wealth building in Canada and CONNECT across sectors to support relationships and collaboration to advance community ownership at scale.
While seating is limited, if you are interested in attending, please reach out to Heather Hachigian: heather.hachigian@royalroads.ca
